Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform enough drying of refuse at a dry zone, to promote the generation of reducing gas from a dry zone, and to reduce the generation of NOX, by a method wherein combustion air is forced to pass an oxygen enriching film to separate it into nitrogen enriched air and oxygen enriched air, and nitrogen enriched air and oxygen enriched air are fed to a dry zone and a combustion zone, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A using oxygen enriching film 3 is a film to concentrate oxygen by utilizing a different in transmission speed between oxygen and nitrogen in the air, air on the primary side produces oxygen thinned = nitrogen enriched air, and air on the secondary side produces oxygen enriched air. When combustion air 2 is fed in an incinerator 1, the combustion air 2 is forced to pass the oxygen enriching film 3 to separate it into nitrogen enriched air 4 and oxygen enriched 5, and the nitrogen enriched air 4 and the oxygen enriched air 5 are fed to a dry zone 6 and a combustion zone 7, respectively. The combustion zone 7 is formed by a first combustion zone 8, a second combustion zone 9, and an after-combustion zone 10, and the oxygen enriched air 5 is fed to each combustion zone. As noted above, since drying of refuse at the dry zone is improved and the efficiency of combustion of the combustion zone is also improved, the combustion speed is improved and the generation of NOX is suppressed.
