PURPOSE:To achieve miniaturization of the title thin sheet moving equipment at a low cost by making an arm mechanism and its control part, a feed screw mechanism and its control part and further, a printable distance detection sensor unnecessary, by transferring a thin sheet by horizontal transfer of a feed slide and vertical motion of a movable base owing to rotation of a cam. CONSTITUTION:When a feed slide 4 on which a thin sheet 2 is loaded is stopped at a printing position which has been preliminarily determined, a guide 6 is pushed up by rotation of a cam. A projection 13 of a movable base 5 passes through a hole of the feed slide 4, pushes up a thin sheet 2 on the feed slide 4 to a distance capable of being printed. The cam 11 stops, and a printing head 1 starts printing. A line feed is performed by moving the feed slide 4 by a necessary distance in the arrow direction N. In that case, the movable base 5 is pushed with the feed slide 4 to be transferred together therewith. When printing is ended, the cam 11 is again rotated. When the movable base 5 is separated from the feed slide 4, it is returned to the original position by a spring 9. However, an edge is so provided at a bottom end of a rib 3 that the movable base 5 can be easily separated from the feed slide 4. The feed slide 4 moves again, and operation to the next thin sheet is started.
