Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of deodorization by reducing an interlayer compd. bridged among clay layers with iron oxide and thereafter, by supporting transition metal cation on the interlayer compd. CONSTITUTION:The clay interlayer compd. bridged among layers with metal oxide such as Al2O3, TiO2, SiO2 is reduced with Fe2O3. Thereafter, the interlayer compd. is forced to coexist with an aq. soln. of transition metal compd. such as sulfate, nitrate, halogenide of Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, and then, is dried. Thereby, the divalent transition metal ion such as Fe<2+>, Cu<2+>, Zn<2+> can be supported on the interlayer compd. to obtain the deodorant having large absorption rate.
