Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold uniform density between cords, the linearity of the cords and the flatness of a sheet-like material by bonding a thin film material made of a heating fluid substance to at least one side face of the material made of a plurality of codes. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cords C applied by an adhesive are rewound from a beam 1 in a sheet-like state, supplied from a roll 2, and press-bonded to be integrated by pressing rolls 4 with a thin film-like material F of heating fluid substance preheated by a heater 3. Then, it is fed through a plurality of guide rollers, an accumulator 5 and tension adjusting rolls 6 to a calender roller 7, where a rubber sheet R is topped. The topped cords are wound through cooling rolls 6' and an accumulator 5' to a winding roll 9 together with a linear cloth 8. The heating fluid substance means hot melt resin: thermoplastic diene rubber, etc., and includes adhesive substance represented by rubber paste. The state of the substance may be any of film-like, mesh-like and net-like states provided it is of a thin film-like material.
