Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily position the head at the imaging hole of a gantry so as to set the same to a region suitable for the imaging of a jaw joint, by providing a jaw fitting plate, which has a notch part for allowing the neck part of an examinee to escape formed thereto, to a head holding apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A notch part 13a for allowing the neck part of an examinee to escape is formed to a jaw fitting plate 13. A moving table 11 is moved in a forward and rearward direction with respect to an imaging hole 41a by the rotational operation of a knob 4 to adjust the position of a head support plate 12 and that of the jaw fitting plate 13, and the head is positioned at an angle suitable for the imaging of a jaw joint. Further, by positioning the neck part at the notch part 13a to place a jaw part on a jaw receiving plate 13, the jaw part can be easily positioned at the region taking the image of the jaw joint. Since the jaw receiving plate 13 can be simply detached from the moving table 11 by a clamp screw 14, when the jaw receiving plate 13 is appropriately selected from a plurality of prepared ones having notch parts 13a different in size corresponding to the form of the examinee, the tomographic imaging of the jaw joint can be always performed in a correct state.
