Abstract

PURPOSE:To incorporate an on-vehicle terminal equipment and a handy terminal equipment and to obtain a mobile terminal equipment used therefor by connecting the mobile terminal equipment to any of radio base stations arranged in the on vehicle terminal radio zone and the handy terminal radio zone depending on the state of the mobile terminal equipment and applying communication. CONSTITUTION:A service area is covered overlapping with two kinds of different size of radio zonea (on-vehicle terminal equipment radio zone 2 and handy terminal equipment radio zone 6) and they are provided respectively with an on-vehicle terminal equipment radio base station 3 and a handy terminal equipment radio base station 7. The mobile terminal station is connected to the on-vehicle terminal equipment radio base station 3 or the handy terminal equipment radio base station 7 and communicates with it depending on the state of the mobile terminal equipment, that is, on-vehicle or handy equipment. In case of the on-vehicle terminal equipment, the zone is increased because the equipment copes sufficiently with a large zone and in case of the handy terminal equipment, the zone is decreased. Thus, the radio communication system incorporating the automobile telephone set and handy telephone set and the mobile terminal equipment suitable for the radio communication system are obtained.
