Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a inner surface coated film at the time of outer surface coating, by applying epoxy paint based on a specific epoxy compound and containing a thiol compound as a curing agent and, after curing, applying heat-treatment to the paint film to perform anticorrosion coating. CONSTITUTION:Epoxy paint based on an epoxy compound and containing a thiol compound as a curing agent is prepared. As the epoxy compound, there are glycidyl ether of bisphenol, a novolac type epoxy compound or the like. As the thiol compound, 1,4-butane diol, 1,8-octane diol or the like are designated. Said epoxy paint is applied to the inner and outer surface of a steel pipe in a thickness of about 0.6-5mm. At the time of the coating of the outer surface of the steel pipe, temp. of the inside of steel pipe becomes to 150 deg.C or higher. By this method, the damage of the coating layer can be prevented.
