Abstract

PURPOSE:To optimize exhaust gas emission and operability, by a method wherein it is decided whether a detecting value of a factor changed according to a difference in volatility exceeds an allowable range, and when it exceeds the allowable range, a control amount related to combustion is corrected. CONSTITUTION:In a control device having a computing means 21 to compute a control amount of an air-fuel ratio related to combustion based on the detecting value of an engine running condition, a deciding means 23 to decide whether the feed of oil is effected or not from the output of a remaining fuel amount detecting means 22 is provided, and when YES decision is made, a signal by which of which correction of a control amount is started is outputted from a correction starting means 24. A deciding means 26 to decide whether the detecting value of a factor changed according to a difference in volatility exceeds an allowable range is provided. During the generation of a correction starting signal and when a decision result produced by the deciding means 26 is YES, a control amount is corrected by means of a correction means 27 so that the detecting value is kept within the allowable range, and a current correction amount is used in succession by means of a continuing use means 28 until a next oil feed decision is made.
