Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent over-enriching of an air-fuel ratio, by a method wherein an acceleration state right after deceleration is discriminated based on a continuing time of the fully closed state of a throttle valve, and control is effected so that, during discrimination, no interruption injection of fuel is made. CONSTITUTION:An internal combustion engine is formed with a means (a) to detect the running state of an engine, a means (b) to set a fuel injection amount based on the running state of the engine, and a means (c) to output an injection pulse signal equivalent to a fuel injection amount to a fuel injection valve (g). In this constitution, a means (d) to detect the fully closed state of a throttle valve is provided. A means (e) to output a signal by means of which an output of an interruption injection pulse signal is permitted when a continuing time exceeds a given time is provided. Further, a means (f) to output an interruption injection signal to a fuel injection valve (g) when the throttle valve is opened in a state to output an interruption permission signal is provided.
