Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain reproduction of a picture at a correct position by using a timing adjustment means so as to adjust the relative timing between a video signal and a synchronizing signal based on the relation of position between a marker signal and a video signal outputted from a signal position output means. CONSTITUTION:If the video signal in a picture signal read from a video floppy disk is not in a correct position with a synchronizing signal, the deviation between the video signal and the synchronizing signal is displayed by displaying a mark on the screen of a video monitor 48. In inputting a delay based on the judgement of the operator from a delay input section 52, the delay set in variable delay circuits 16, 18, 20 is changed accordingly. Thus, the video signal inputted to the variable delay circuits 16, 18, 20 is retarded to form a prescribed timing. Thus, the picture is outputted at a proper position at the reproduction.
