Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The transparent surface electrodes 12 and 22 are formed on the sides of 1st and 2nd sheets 1 and 2 where an X-side transparent electrode line 11 and a Y-axis transparent electrode line 21 are not formed. At the same time, these lectrodes 12 and 22 are grounded and the transparent insulator layers 13 and 23 are provided for the protection of the outer surfaces of both electrodes 12 and 22. In other words, the grounded electrodes 12 and 22 have the effects to shield electrostatically both lines 11 and 21. Thus it is possible to eliminate the electrostatic noises applied to a panel and to prevent the malfunctions despite the improvement of the resolution.
