Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the resolution of the system and reduce optical error intervention by providing an optical shift means for an array image, a means which processes information as specified, and a secondary sampling means. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor 3 is timed by a clock generator 8 at an ordinary clock rate. A glass plate 2 is positioned at the solid-line angle throughout a 1st field. The output of the image sensor 3 is sent to a chopper modulator 6 in order through an LPF 4 and a video signal processing circuit 5. The modulator 6 operates to sample corresponding elements of the sensor 3 at a pixel rate in order. A monitor display of its output has a half of the output removed. In a 2nd field, the plate 2 is positioned at the dotted-line angle by a bimorph and an Image is displaced by a half pixel from the sensor 3. Then the output of the sensor 3 after being passed through the circuit 5 is supplied to a delay line 7 so that it can be switched, the output is delayed by a half pixel, and the modulator 6 performs chopper operation.
