PURPOSE:To impart practically superior characteristics and to enable an efficient production from an economical standpoint, by a method wherein a recording layer containing a specific naphthalocyanine compound is formed on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer containing a naphthalocyanine compound shown by a formula or MNPc-(X-A)n is formed on a transparent substrate. In the formula; NPc represents naphthalocyanine residue; M is hydrogen atom or metal atom which can have oxygen, halogen, hydroxyl, or the like; X is a bivalent bond group shown by -COO-, -CH2NR'-, CH2NHCOCH2NH-, -CONR'-, where R' represents hydrogen atom or 1-20 C saturated or unsaturated alkyl; A represents substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, halogen atom, hydroxyl group, nitro group, alkoxy group, aliphatic hydrocarbon group which can be substituted by carboxyl group or sulfone group, or substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group; and (n) is an integer 1-16.
