PREPARATION:A keto acid compound expressed by formula II [e.g. 4-(4- dimethylamino-2-carboxybenzoyl)-4',N-dimethyldiphenylamine] and an ethylenic compound expressed by formula III [e.g. 1,1-bis-(p-dimethylaminophenyl)ethylene] are subjected to condensation reaction through dehydration in the presence of a condensing agent (e.g. acetic anhydride).
