Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve each material strength by adding metallic nitride to the molten metal of copper, titanium, aluminum, magnesium as well as the alloys thereamong and cast iron and distributing said metallic nitride into the total volume of the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:Copper, titanium, aluminum, magnesium as well as the alloys thereamong and cast iron are melted. The metallic nitride compound is added to said molten metal. The mixture is then cast or is subjected to plastic working after the casting. Said metallic nitride is incorporated into the molten metal as it stands without decomposing or oxidizing.
