Abstract

PURPOSE:To completely shut off incoming noise magnetic fields so that measurement with good accuracy can be made by consisting a titled body of a shell which has internally a space capable of enclosing an object to be examined and is engaged dividably to two parts and constituting the shell of a superconducting material. CONSTITUTION:A helmet 2 which is the shell to cover the outside of a head part 1 is constituted of the superconducting material. This helmet 2 has internally the space capable of sufficiently enveloping the head part 2 and is provided with at least a piece of skid sensor. A slight magnetic field is detected by using this skid sensor without being affected by the external magnetic fields. The material constituting the helmet 2 is formed by preparing the powdery superconductor of, for example, a Y-Ba-Sr-Cu-O system, adding an aq. soln. dissolved with a slight amt. of PVA, kneading the ceramics to an easily pressable state, putting the mixture into press dies of a helmet shape and molding the same. The dies are so designed that the dies are divided to two parts and steps 31 and 32 of ruggedness do not create a part where the external magnetic field leaks when the dies are butted to each other. As the result, a costly magnetic shielding room is not necessitated.
