CONSTITUTION:Two natural frequency components represented by the respective modulation central frequencies of two types of frequency modulating luminance signals whose frequency bands are close are amplified by a pair of adjusting amplifying circuits 14 and 15 having one of the two natural frequencies as the peak point, the other as the dip point, and having the resonance characteristic whose peak point and dip point are in the opposite relationship, and by level-comparing the outputs of the same adjusting amplifying circuits 14 and 15 at a comparator, a signal frequency is discriminated. Thus, the practical discriminating range is secured in a maximum limit without using a band filter circuit, etc.
