Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a pneumatic bearing from scuffing by getting air to flow into a pneumatic bearing chamber between a rotary sleeve and a center housing via an inflow port of the center housing and providing an air containing channel on a center housing surface with which the rotary sleeve comes into contact. CONSTITUTION:A rotary sleeve 30 is mounted in a center housing 22, and a thin film-like pneumatic bearing chamber 40 is made to exist between the both. The rotary sleeve 30 has tendency to touch to the center housing at the contact zone on delivery side of inner periphery surface of the same, but as there is an air containing channel 722 on final end 52 of the contact zone, the bearing load ability of the pneumatic bearing chamber 40 is made to increase due to air absorbed from an inflow port 71. Therefore, apprehension for generation of skuffing vanishes.
