Abstract

PURPOSE:To adhere beautifully a fibrous sheet along the surface of a hollow body, by blending monofilaments in the outermost surface side of a parison in the method for preparing a plastic hollow body on the surface of which the fibrous sheet is adhered. CONSTITUTION:A blow-moldable parison 12 is placed between divided molds 13 and 14 by feeding the parison 12 from an extrusion die 11, and a fibrous sheet 15 is placed between a parison 12 and the divided mold 13. In the outermost surface side 12b of the parison 12, monofilaments 16 including polyester synthetic fibers are buried, but no monofilament is placed in the innermost surface side 12b. The divided molds 13 and 14 are clamped and a compressed fluid is introduced in the parison. The inner surface 12b of the parison is thereby pressed to the divided mold 13 and the fibrous sheet 15 placed between them are put therebetween to be buried in parison of a molten state. In this instance, monofilaments 16 having been buried in advance in the outermost surface side of the parison are entangled with the fibrous sheet 15 to make a tightly jointed condition and the fibrous sheet 15 is completely held by the solidified parison, where the monofilaments 16 exhibit a kind of anchor effect.
