Abstract
PURPOSE:To lowering height of TOFU (soybean curd) forming apparatus and simplifying mechanism and molding process, by housing soybean milk containing added solidifying agent in a molding box, transferring the box along a rail, stopping the box on an elevating cylinder, raising the molding box by the cylin der, bringing the upper lid into contact with a contact tool and squeezing and molding TOFU (soybean curd). CONSTITUTION:A couple of parallel and horizontal guide rails 2 is provided in a frame 1 and plural cylinders 3 for elevating a molding box is arranged at equal intervals along the rails. Further a couple of levers 4 for supporting lower face of the molding box is provided reciprocatively and slidably along the rail 2 on the rail 2. A contact tool 5 for upper lid of the molding box is provided directly on the intermediate of the supporting lever 4. A molding box 7 housing a soybean milk 9 containing added coagulating agent is put on the supporting lever 4 at the beginning end of the rail 2 and transferred and stopped on the cylinder 3. Then the molding box 7 is raised by the cylinder 3 to bring the upper lid 8 into contact with the contact tool 5 and TOFU (soy bean curd) 9 in the molding box 7 is squeezed by the upper lid 8 to mold the TOFU.
