Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve efficiency, by arranging a plurality of supporting pieces, consisting of a cushioning medium, between a stator unit and a supporting member with an interval respectively. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor is constituted of an annular rotor unit 1, a stator unit 4 consisting of an elastic body 2, whose projecting parts 2a are abutted against the rotor unit 1, and a piezo-electric body 3, an annular vibration absorbing body 5 and a supporting member 6. In this case, 4 pieces of supporting pieces 5a consisting of cusioning mediums are arranged between the piezo-electric body 3 of the stator unit 4 and the supporting member 6 with an interval of 90 deg. respectively. According to this constitution, the stator unit 4 may be supported surely while the vibration of the stator unit 4 will never be interferred since a part of the piezo-electric body 3 is supported.
