Abstract

PURPOSE:To make mass production by injecting a UV curable resin into a lens mold, covering the mold with a glass plate, projecting UV rays through the glass plate to the UV curable resin packed between the glass plate and the lens mold to cure the resin and parting the laminated lens formed on the glass plate from the lens mold. CONSTITUTION:The UV curable resin 1A is injected into the lens mold 4 having the shape of a lens face and is covered with the glass plate 6. The UV rays are projected through the glass plate 6 to the UV curable resin 1A packed between the glass plate 6 and the lens mold 4 to cure the resin; thereafter, the laminated lens is parted from the lens mold 4, by which the laminated lens 7 consisting of the glass plate 6 and the resin 1A is obtd. Since the lens 7 is directly formed on one face of the glass plate 6, there is no need for previous grinding of a plastic lens and since this lens is formed not by sticking of the lens 7 and the glass plate 6, the number of parts is smaller and the stage is shorter. Intrusion of air bubbles and foreign matter into the lens is, therefore, obviated and the productivity is greatly improved.
