Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The objective material consisting of polymer chain having, as the structural unit, either (A) five-membered heterocyclic compound (e.g. furan) where such substituents as to exert electrically attractive force intermolecularly (e.g. straight chain alkyl) have been introduced into the 3- and 4- sites or (B) condensed heterocyclic compound having five-membered heterocycle carrying hetero atom at the 2-site (e.g., iso-indole) where said substituents have been introduced into at least two sites among the 4-, 5-, 6- and 7- sites with said polymer chain either electron acceptor or electron donor doped.
