Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the generating of X rays on a stable state by forming a V groove circumferentially on a position where electron beams are made to impinge on a rotary drum with a stator for generation of a rotating magnetic field and besides by forming a fixed fin for receiving heat radiated from the rotary fin. CONSTITUTION:A stator 26 is formed to generate a rotating magnetic field. A V groove 28 is formed circumferentially on a position where electron beams 29 are made to impinge on a rotary drum 23 rotated by application of the rotating magnetic field. A rotary fin 31 is formed to radiate heat which is generated on the V groove 28 during the generation of X rays, and on the other hand a fixed fin 32 is formed on a position of the fixed part 22 facing the rotary fin 31 so as to receive the heat radiated from the rotary fin 31. The heat generated on the V groove 28 upon the generation of the X rays is conducted from the rotary drum 23 to the rotary fin 31. Further, radiant heat conduction and gaseous convective heat conduction are performed against the fixed fin 32, and thereafter the heat is radiated outwards from the fixed part 22. X rays can be hence stably generated.
