Abstract

PURPOSE:To rapidly remove dew condensation without using an exclusive heat source by allowing current to simultaneously flow into all windings of a motor to heat the windings and removing the dew condensation on the surface of a drum by the heat. CONSTITUTION:The titled device consists of a fixed drum 1, a rotary drum 3 having a magnetic head 4 on its outer periphery and the motor 6 for rotating the drum 3. When current is allowed to simultaneously flow into all the windings L1-L3 of the motor 6, the motor 6 is not rotated and the windings L1-L3 are heated, so that the fixed drum drum 1 is heated and the rotary drum 3 is also heated through the drum 1 to remove dew condensation on the surface of the drum. The windings L1-L3 are arranged with equal intervals in the peripheral direction. Consequently, heat is effectively transmitted to the whole rotary drum 3 with good balance and dew condensation can be rapidly removed.
