Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve adhesion and buffering ability of pavement for a joint between bridge beams by a method wherein a honeycomb structure is disposed at the joint between the bridge beams and the internal part thereof is filled with a pavement material blended with granular substances covered with a material having viscoelasticity during heating. CONSTITUTION: A groove 4 is formed in a beam end 11 of a bridge beams 1 having slab concrete 2 and an asphalt layer 3. An upper surface 21 of the slab concrete 2 from which the groove part 4 is exposed is coated with an adhesive. A reticular substance 5 is adhered and a sheet-form substance 6 containing a grain adhesion material is laminated thereon. A honeycomb structure 7 is disposed on the sheet-form substance 6, and a hexagonal space 73 and the upper part thereof are filled with a pavement material 8 wherein the grains of a granular substance covered with a material having viscoelasticity during heating are blended.
