CONSTITUTION:The magnetic shield 3 made of a ferromagnetic material is composed of a cylindrical yoke 4, the terminal plate 5a having a center aperture 6a and a side hole 10, and the terminal plate 5b having a center aperture 6b. The center aperture 6a of the terminal plate 5, having the side hole 14, is made asymmetric to the center axis, and the aperture diameter on the side of the side hole 10 is formed equivalently small. As a result, the components such as z, y, zy, z<2>y and the like of the magnetic field gradient with respect to z-axis and y-axis is reduced, and the uniformity of the magnetic field can be improved.
