Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately set welding current conditions by starting to measure in electrification cycle based on an effective value of a welding current which is obtained by calculating a detected welding current value of a resistance welding machine for every half-cycle and displaying the effective value of the welding current for every half-cycle.
CONSTITUTION: The welding current flowing to an lower arm 4 of the welding machine is detected by a current detector 7 and a current waveform is restored by a waveform restoration circuit 8 and an analog signal for every half-cycle is outputted to an AID converter 9. It is compared with a reference value outputted from a setter 11 based on the current data for every half-cycle held in a storing device 10 and in case a compared value is out of the range of the reference value, an alarm is outputted.
