Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent internal shortcircuiting effectively by forming a separator from a lamination of porous high-density film with resistance against electrolyte and unwoven cloth, and by arranging the film on the positive pole side. CONSTITUTION:An unwoven cloth and a film are laminated or adhered fast with the film positioned on the positive pole 2 side, wherein the unwoven cloth 5 is of glass fiber etc., having a thickness of 60-200mum, a density of 0.3-0.45g/cm<3>, while the film is of polyethylene etc., having a thickness of 25-100mum and a density of 0.5-0.6g/cm<3>. The negative pole is made of metal Li etc., while the positive pole is of an electroconductive polymer such as polyacetylene, and the solution used shall for ex. be LiClO4, and the solvent 1, 2-dimethoxyethane, whereto triethyl amin etc., is added as a stabilizer. According to this arrangement, eventual production of Li dendrite on the negative pole 1 will not necessarily lead directly to internal shortcircuiting, that should prolong the cycle life of a Li secondary battery.
