Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain superminiaturization and high resolution by using a blue light source so as to generate also green light and red light and forming three light sources of red, green and blue, using a shutter so as to change over each color and forming a complete contact type not using any lens system. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 4 is formed on a transparent insulation film 3 at a position where a radiated light from a transparent window 2 lights an original 13 and a reflected light from the original is received. Moreover, light conductive film 5 comprising a resin film including a red phosphor and a glass protection film, a light conductive film 6 comprising a resin film including a green phosphor and a glass protection film are formed to a desired position clipping the photodetector 4 on the transparent insulation film 3. Then liquid crystal shutters 7, 8, 9 to switch the radiated light from the blue light source 10 to the light conductive film 5, the light conductive film 6 and the transparent window 2 are fitted onto the other face of a base 1 respectively. Moreover, reflecting plates 11, 12 are fitted. The phosphor is lighted in the resin layer forming the conductive films 5, 6 by the light incident from the plane side of the conductive films 5, 6 and the light satisfying the total reflecting condition is radiated from the end face of each light conductive film the original 13 is radiated and the information of the original 13 is read by the photodetector 4.
