Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately compensate the base-line fluctuation of digital signals caused by interception of low frequencies so as to prevent wrong data, by adding the output of a 2nd adder to the digital signals at a 1st adder. CONSTITUTION:The titled circuit is provided with the 1st adder 2 which inputs transmitted or reproduced digital signals, a discriminator 5 which discriminates data from the output of the adder 2, a band-pass filter 9 and low-pass filter 10 which extract the low-frequency components from the output of the discriminator 5 after band division, and a 2nd adder 11 which adds the outputs of the two filters to each other. This DC restoration circuit is constituted to impress the output of the 2nd adder 11 upon the 1st adder 2. Therefore, compensation can be performed on transmitted or reproduced digital signals even when their low-frequency intercepting characteristic is complicated and wrong data are reduced.
