Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow a rotary shaft, centering member and the center of a disk to be coincident with by taking a tip side as a free end opposing to the rotary shaft at a conical part and providing at least two centering pieces consisting of the elastic piece making the base end side as the fixed end linked to the centering member. CONSTITUTION:When an optical disk 7 is loaded from the upper part of the turn table 2 of a disk rotating device, the inner edge 7b of its centering hole 7a is abutted to the side face of the conical part 5a of a centering piece 5e and when the optical disk 7 is pressed in the turn table 2 direction with the descent of a clamper 8, the centering piece 5e is deformed and its tip 5f is abutted to the side face of a rotary shaft 1. Since the centering piece 5e is provided so as to surround the rotary shaft 1, a collet 5 and the rotary center of the rotary shaft 1 coincide. The inner edge 7b of the optical disk is thereafter descended along the slope of the side face of the conical part 5a of the centering piece 4e and the optical disk 7 is placed at the center for this collet 5. The rotary center of the optical disk 7, collet 5 and rotary shaft 1 thus coincides and the optical disk 7 is not eccentric for the rotary shaft 1.
