Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of a die and to improve its service life as well by forming the face connecting angular parts by the notched face of a circular columnar segment, in the die insert forming the die hole having plural angular parts. CONSTITUTION:A circular buried hole 43 is formed with high accuracy so that the corner parts 45 at two places of a die hole 33 formed on a circular columnar main body segment 39 are located on the inner peripheral face of the buried hole 43. After burying a circular columnar segment 41 by press-fitting it into this buried hole 43 the main body segment 39 is inserted into the hole 37 of a fastening cylindrical body 35 by shrink fitting. The die hole 33 is then formed so that the corner part 45 of the die hole 33 may be located on the other periphery of the segment 41 on the main body segment 39 by discharging. The accuracy of the die is thus increased and the service life is extended by forming one face of the faces connecting the angular parts 45 of the die hole 33 by the notched face 47 of the segment 41.
