The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for monitoring nuclear reactor core and channel stability. Dynamic characteristics of boiling water reactors include core and channel stability. To obtain this stability,
Calculations are made using a calculation model at the reactor design stage, and the design is made so that the width reduction ratio is less than or equal to a predetermined value. However, the stability of the reactor core and channels in actually operated nuclear power plants is
There was no way to specifically measure the state of the reactor, and it was not possible to know the stability of the reactor core and channels during operation. The present invention has been made based on the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to obtain a monitoring method and device capable of monitoring the core and channel stability of a nuclear reactor without applying any disturbance during operation of a boiling water reactor. It is an object. In the present invention, the above object is achieved by frequency-analyzing the output signals of a plurality of neutron flux detectors arranged in the reactor core for measuring reactor power, etc., and extracting stability information. The details of the present invention will be explained below. First, frequency analysis is performed on the output signal of the neutron detector, and the attenuation ratio, which is information related to the stability, is calculated from the obtained power spectral density pattern. Since core stability depends on the behavior of the entire core, if the attenuation ratio for the output signals of almost all neutron flux detectors exceeds a predetermined threshold, it is determined that core stability has deteriorated. Channel stability depends on whether only a certain channel becomes thermohydrodynamically unstable, and since it is related to a local phenomenon, the output signal of a neutron flux detector within a certain limited range If the width attenuation ratio exceeds the threshold value, it is determined that the channel stability has deteriorated. The attenuation ratio and resonance frequency are estimated as follows. In the power spectral density (curve C in Figure 1) obtained from the output signal of the neutron flux detector,
Only the frequency band related to stability is extracted and least squares fitting using a quadratic equation is applied to that part. In FIG. 1, the frequency bands marked with * are used for the above-mentioned fitting. The regression curve P i is given by the following equation (1). P i = α / ω 4 / i + 2 (2ρ 2 −1) f 2 / 0 ω 2 / i + f
4/0 ...( 1 ) Also, the evaluation function s is given by the following equation (2). s= o 〓 i=1 W i (P i −Y i ) 2 ...(2) However, f 0 ... Resonance frequency ρ ... Attenuation constant ω ... Frequency W i ... Appropriate weighting coefficient Y i ... Power spectral density ( (Actually measured value), and ρ, f 0 ,
The gain α is determined, and the width reduction ratio λ is given by the following equation (3) from ρ determined as described above. In addition, the weighting coefficient

置を知ることができる。[Formula], where π is pi. In FIG. 2, the arithmetic circuit 1 calculates the attenuation ratio λ of the output signal of each neutron flux detector according to the procedure described above.
and the resonant frequency f 0 , and the comparison counting circuit 2
performs the following counting based on the calculation result of the arithmetic circuit. That is, in a stable state, it is known that in the current boiling water reactor, the attenuation ratio λ and the resonant frequency f 0 are λ < 0.25, 0.1Hz < f 0 < 1Hz, so circuit 2 When the width reduction ratio λ is between 0.25 and 0.5, it exceeds the threshold value α appropriately determined according to operational requirements, and the resonance frequency is 0.1.
Count the number N 1 of neutron flux detectors between Hz and 1.0 Hz. Comparison counting circuit 3 calculates the number N 1 counted by circuit 2
is not 0, the attenuation ratio λ is determined from the attenuation ratio in the oscillation state. The waveform is disordered, and the number N 2 of neutron flux detectors whose flux is larger than λ = 0.8 is known to be a suitable threshold is counted. The first determination circuit 4 determines whether N 1 =0 or not, and the second determination circuit 5 determines whether N 2 =0 when the circuit 4 determines that N 1 ≠ 0. Further, when the circuit 5 determines that N 2 =0, the third determination circuit 6 determines that N 1
Determine whether ≦γ. Here, γ is a factor that identifies core and channel stability, and is a factor that indicates the range, or boundary, where channel stability affects the stability of the entire core, and n is a factor that indicates the boundary between neutrons monitored in one string. When considering the number of bundle detectors, it is appropriate to set γ to about 4n. The fourth determination circuit 7 determines whether N 2 ≦γ when the second determination circuit 5 determines that N 2 ≠0. When the first determination circuit 4 determines that N 1 =0, the reactor is in a normal state and is displayed as "normal" 8 on the display device. Further, if the third determination circuit 6 determines that N 1 ≦γ, it is an abnormal state of unknown cause;
"Cause unknown" 9 is displayed on the display device. Furthermore, when the determination circuit 6 determines that N 1 ≦γ does not hold, it means that the core stability has deteriorated.
The alarm device 10 is activated. The same applies when the fourth determination circuit 7 determines that N 2 ≦γ does not hold. Furthermore, circuit 7
When it is determined that N 2 ≦γ, the fifth determination circuit 11
determines whether there are two or more neutron flux detectors in the same string among the N 2 counted neutron flux detectors. When it is determined that it is included, it is displayed as "channel oscillation, channel oscillation" 12, and when it is determined that it is not included, it is displayed as "cause unknown" 13. In the above device of the present invention, N 1 ≠0, N 2 =
0, and when N 1 ≦γ is determined, even if channel oscillation does not occur, some kind of abnormality has occurred, and this is an abnormal state of unknown cause. Furthermore, when it is determined that N 1 ≠0, N 2 =0, and N 1 >γ, the core stability is deteriorating. Furthermore, with N 1 ≠ 0, N 2 ≠ 0, and N 2 ≦γ, there are two detectors of the same string in N 2 neutron flux detectors.
If more than one string is included, this means that oscillation is caused in the channel near the string. Further, when it is determined that two or more neutron flux detectors in the same string are not included in N2 , it is an abnormal state of unknown cause although it does not lead to oscillation. According to the present invention having the above configuration, the attenuation ratio and the resonance frequency can be determined online in a nuclear reactor currently in operation. Furthermore, since the channel in which the oscillation occurred is near the oscillation detection string, the approximate position of the channel in which the oscillation occurred can be known at the time of the oscillation detection.
