合し、該嵌合部に両持ち爪を備えて互いに圧接し
てなるジヤケツトチユーブに、軸方向に収縮可能
なステアリングシヤフトが貫通し、該ステアリン
グシヤフトを構成するアツパーシヤフトが前記ア
ツパーチユーブの上端部に軸受けを介して支承さ
れるとともに、ロアシヤフトがロアチユーブに間
隙を有して支承され、かつ、該ロアチユーブの端
部がエンジンルーム内に開口してなるステアリン
グコラムにおいて、前記アツパーチユーブとロア
チユーブの嵌合部の内側に、内嵌されたいずれか
一方の上記チユーブの端部が当接する弾性環状体
からなるジヤケツトインシユレーターを、その周
面に環状に突設した複数のリツプ部が、他方の上
記チユーブの内周面にそれぞれ圧接すべく嵌合せ
しめてなることを特徴とするステアリングコラム
