PURPOSE: To lower the storage temperature quickly down to a normal level by sustaining a constant temperature and high humidity in a refrigerator through cooling with a first cooler, interrupting cooling with the first cooler when the temperature in the refrigerator increases abnormally and then cooling the refrigerator with a second cooler. CONSTITUTION: When the upper limit set temperature T1 of an inner thermostat Th3 is passed over, one contact Th3-a of the thermostat Th3 is closed and rotation of a compressor CM and a fan motor FM3 is restarted thus cooling brine in a tank 8 is cooled by means of a third cooler 47. Cooling in the refrigerator is then started by circulating brine cooled by the third cooler 47 through a first cooler 17.
