Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely output at ignition monitor signal with a simple and low-cost circuit structure by returning an ignition signal pulse as a monitor signal pulse when a set preference flip flop is in a set condition. CONSTITUTION:A reset pulse 1a which is synchronized with the rise of fall of an ignition signal pulse IGt and a set pulse 2a which is issued when the operation of the primary side of an ignition coil 6 is detected are inputted into a set preference flip flop 3. When these pulses 1a, 2a are simultaneously inputted, the flip flow 3 becomes a set condition and the ignition signal pulse IGt is returned via a return circuit 4 as a monitor signal pulse IGf. Thereby, an ignition command device confirms the normal operation of an ignition circuit. On the other and, if the primary side of the ignition coil 6 fails to operate, the set pulse 2a is not inputted and the flip flop 3 is reset, without outputting the monitor signal pulse IGf. Thereby, the ignition command device confirms the failure of the ignition circuit.
