Abstract

PURPOSE:To use organic substance as feed, fertilizer, etc., by evaporating water from a mixture of a highly concentrated organic waste liquid and animal or vegetable oil to attain a given water content and thereafter by separating the organic substances such as crude protein therefrom by a separator to recover the organic substances. CONSTITUTION:Animal or vegetable oils different in specific gravity are added to a highly concentrated organic waste liquid such as waste distilled alcohol and tofu dregs in such an amount as to attain an oil content of 70-80% of the finally concentrated waste liquid in order to keep the same active even after the evaporation of water therefrom. Such a mixture of the waste liquid and oil is evaporated at a low temperature of 40-50 deg.C in a vacuum of 60-160mmHg and concentrated to attain a water content of not more than 10% and the organic substances are thereafter separated and recovered as solid substances from the aforesaid oil by a separator. By this method, a highly concentrated organic waste liquid can be concentrated to even higher concentration at low costs without requiring a large scale of facility and also the organic substances can be recovered efficiently for use as feed and fertilizer.
