Abstract

PURPOSE:To develop the titled steel sheet having excellent workability such as bendability and beading stretchability by generating crystal grains consisting mainly of a xsi phase on the surface of the steel sheet contg. a Zn-Fe alloy galvanized layer having specific compsn. CONSTITUTION:The steel sheet is immersed into a hot dip galvanized bath contg. 0.003-0.13% Al to apply hot dip galvanization on the surface of the steel sheet. Said hot dip galvanized steel sheet is then subjected to a heating treatment to alloy Fe in the steel sheet and the Zn galvanization by the hot dip galvanization and the crystal grains consisting of the xsi phase are generated on the surface thereof to <=10mum average thickness. The xsi phase has extensibility, shows lubrication working as well as prevents the propagation of cracks generated at the lower layer part and improves the formability at the time of working. In this case, the faults such as bubbles at the time of cation electro painting are dissolved when 1-7g/m<2> electrogalvanizing consisting of >60% Fe and the balance Zn is applied on the upper layer of the galvanized steel sheet.
