Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an org. noble metal inks suitable for use in ornament, electronic industry, etc. and capable of giving an even smooth coating surface, by combining at least one noble metal salt of resinic acid with a terpene resin binder and a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: At least one noble metal salt of resinic acid (A) (e.g., gold resinate or platinum resinate) is mixed with a terpene resin binder (B) (e.g., an α-pinene polymer or a terpene-phenol copolymer) and a solvent (C) (e.g., terpene alcohol) as indispensable components to prepare an org. noble metal ink. The use of the terpene resin capable of serving as a binder even in a smaller amt. than that of conventional binders to provide the same function of the binder as those of the latter enables the amt. of the binder to be decreased to hereby prevent formation of aggregates on the surface of a baked ink coating film caused by the binder, formation of pinholes therein caused by escape therethough of a gas, etc.
