Abstract

PURPOSE: To recognize the states before and after a protocol fault occurs, by providing a tracing information accumulating device which stores transmitting- receiving data outputted from a tracing information temporarily storing buffer.
CONSTITUTION: Upon detecting a protocol fault on a circuit, a protocol fault detecting circuit 1 outputs a tracing information accumulation instructing signal to a tracing information accumulation instructing line 7. The tracing information accumulation instructing signal outputted to the line 7 is sent to another tracing information accumulation instructing line 8 after the signal is delayed by a prescribed time by means of a delay circuit 4. When the tracing information accumulation instructing signal is given to the line 8, the data accumulated in a tracing information temporarily storing buffer 2 are stored in a tracing information accumulating device 3 through a tracing information accumulating data line 9. Therefore, the user of this device reads out only the data accumulated in the accumulating device 3 through an accumulated tracing information reading-out line 10 later, he can efficiently collect the data before and after the protocol fault occurs.
