Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a photopolymerizable compsn. having a high sensitivity by using at least one kind of the anion salt of the org. boron of an org. cationic dye compd. and arom. onium salt or arom. halonium salt in combination as a photopolymn. initiator. CONSTITUTION:The photopolymn. initiator contains at least one kind of the anion salt of the org. boron compd. of the org. cationic dye compd. and the arom. onium salt or arom. halonium salt. The anion salt of the org. boron compd. of the org. cationic dye compd. which can be effectively used is expressed by the formula I. In the formula I, D<+> denotes a cationic dye; R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> are the groups selected from an alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group, alkaryl group, etc.; R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> may be the cyclic structure in which >=2 groups are bonded. The photopolymerizable compd. having the high sensitivity is thereby obtd.
