Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an ideal twin-T filter on a monolithic IC even with a large parasitic element by using a means controlling independently plural circuit components so as to vary independently >=2 passive components among the plural circuit components. CONSTITUTION:The twin-T filter section consists of three capacitive components QC1-QC3 and three resistive components R1-R3, a transistor (TR) Q1 constitutes an input emitter follower and two TRs Q2, Q3 constitute a feedback amplifier. When a base potential VE of the TR Q3 is changed to control the current flowing therethrough, thereby varying a base potential of a TR Q4 and varying a bias applied to the base-emitter capacitance of each capacitive component. A base potential VR of a TR Q5 is varied to control the pinch resistor R3 and the base potential Vc of the TR Q6 is controlled to control the collector-base capacitance of the capacitive component QC3. Thus, the ideal twin-T filter is formed on the monolithic IC even with the parasitic element added thereto.
