Abstract
PURPOSE:To sufficiently prevent oxidation and rust on especially Nd-Fe-D series or Sm-Co series alloy without any deterioration of characteristic by combining treatment by aluminum series coupling agent with method treating the powdery magnetic metal by tannin. CONSTITUTION:The powdery magnetic metal is dipped into water solution containing the tannin or into solution containing the tannin and electrolyte under impressing voltage. The powdery magnetic metal after treating by the tannin is treated by Al series coupling agent. As this coupling agent, for example, acetalkoxy-aluminum diisopropylate is used. As the treating method by Al coupling agent, suitable quantity of the coupling agent is stirred after dipping in the magnetic powder or the coupling agent is resolved in alcohol, etc., and the magnetic powder is dried after dipping in the above solution.
