Abstract

PURPOSE: To safely clean an inner peripheral surface of a sea water supply passage by rotating a rotary body at a front end of a traveling machine which travels while bending by following the shapes of the sea water supply passage, peeling off and breaking marine organisms by a cleaning brush and a breaking hammer and discharging the marine organisms by a suction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A scavenger 1 having the traveling machine 2 to which front and rear traveling parts 3, 4 are joined by freely bending is carried in the curved sea water supply passage 8. The scavenger 1 is made to self-propel along the passage 8 and the rotary body 19 is rotated at the front end of the traveling machine 2 with a central axis line 43 as a rotation center.
