Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the dielectric constant without reducing the pyroelectric coefficient by using a lead titanate or titanate lead zirconate porcelain composition material as the main component and using ferroelectric Pb5Ge3O11 with a low melting point as the auxiliary component to generate different-phase ceramic bulk by the liquid phase sintering. CONSTITUTION:A mixture added with MgO, MnO2, and PbCrO4 to a composition material Pb[(Sn1/2Sb1/2)0.05Ti0.11Zr0.84]O3 weighed with Pb3O4, TiO2, ZrO2, SnO2, and Sb2O3 is applied with the preset processing to obtain titanate lead zirconate (PZT) porcelain powder. Pb3O4 and GeO2 are then weighed to get the composition materiel Pb5Ge3O11, and this mixture is applied with the preset processing to obtain powder. The auxiliary component Pb5Ge3O11 2-35wt.% is added to the PTZ powder, an organic binder is added and mixed, and the powder is press-molded. It is baked at 900-1150 deg.C and liquid phase-sintered. The dielectric constant can be reduced without reducing the pyroelectric coefficient according to this constitution.
