DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a dishwasher that washes and then dries dishes, and particularly relates to hydrophilic treatment of component parts.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, a dishwasher has a configuration as shown in FIG. That is, the cleaning liquid supplied into the cleaning tank 1 is sprayed by the cleaning pump 2 provided below the cleaning tank 1 through the injection nozzle 3 onto the dishes placed in the tableware basket 4, and is then returned to the cleaning tank 1. It returns to the bottom and circulates.

In this cleaning process, the cleaning liquid is heated by the heater 6 to raise its temperature, and is turned into hot water to efficiently remove stains from the dishes. When the cleaning process is completed, the cleaning liquid is drained and water is supplied again, followed by rinsing. In the final rinsing step, the heater 5 is energized to perform heating rinsing, and after draining, the heater 5 performs heating drying.

The accessory case 6 provided in the tableware basket 4 for storing knives, forks, spoons, and other items is made of polypropylene resin and is water repellent, so if left as is, water droplets will remain as shown in Figure 2.
Even after the drying process, the tableware in the accessory case 6 does not dry, so after mixing silica with polypropylene resin and molding, the surface of the accessory case 6 is etched with a strong acid containing an oxidizing agent to expose the silica and make it hydrophilic. I had it granted. As a result of this treatment, a thin film of water was formed on the surface of the accessory case 6, as shown in FIG. 3, and since water droplets did not form, the accessory case 6 could be dried in the drying process.

If the cleaning tank 1 is made of polypropylene resin, if the ceiling wall is made smooth, the water repellency of the polypropylene resin will leave countless water droplets on the ceiling wall, so even after the drying process is finished, water droplets that cannot be dried will remain. When the tableware basket 4 is pulled out, the vibration causes water droplets to fall on the tableware, giving the user the feeling that the tableware has not been dried properly. Therefore, in the past, the ceiling wall 8 was made into a slotted shape as shown in Figure 4, and the surface was coated with epoxy resin diluted with an organic solvent to make it hydrophilic. I left the rest to dry. Alternatively, shot blasting the ceiling walls,

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 6, the transparent window provided on the door 9 on the front of the dishwasher is colored so that water droplets remain even though the wall is vertical due to the water repellency of the resin, making the water droplets more noticeable from the outside. I tried not to.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, as in the conventional example, the resin molded product mixed with silica is etched with a strong acid containing an oxidizing agent, so when used in hot water, the stabilizer is likely to be extracted. However, there was a problem in that the heat aging of the polypropylene resin was significant, and the resin would fall apart after being used for many years. However, in recent years, it has become difficult to carry out this treatment due to the problem of wastewater treatment of etching solutions.

In addition, due to the slits provided in the molded product and the hydrophilic nature of the epoxy, it is difficult to provide slit shapes in parts with complex shapes that are designed to prevent the formation of water droplets, and the contact angle of the epoxy with water is 600%. ~70', this hydrophilicity alone could not provide a sufficient effect. In addition, in the case of parts that come into direct contact with tableware, if the parts have a glossy epoxy coating and are easily visible, even if the parts do not pose a food hygiene problem, they may cause anxiety or damage the product. There was a reduction in value. Furthermore, this treatment was not preferable because it used an organic solvent. In addition, shot blasting is difficult to process on parts with complex shapes, and if unevenness is not provided evenly, the commercial value increases, and if the part is not sufficiently roughened, no effect can be obtained.

さらには、作業環境、量産性の問題もあった。Furthermore, there were problems with the working environment and mass production.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide hydrophilicity to the parts that come into contact with the cleaning liquid and water vapor during the drying process without causing problems in terms of the environment or mass production, and to improve durability.

Table 1 Drying rate (Example 2) Silica alumina sol aqueous solution 5HC-102 manufactured by Takemoto Yushi Co., Ltd. was spray applied to the surface of the cleaning tank 1 side of the polymethylpentene resin transparent window 7 shown in Figure 6, and air dried. After that, the dishwasher was operated, and the number of water droplets remaining on the transparent window 7 was as shown in Table 2.

As shown in Table 2, it goes without saying that similar effects can be obtained by applying a silica alumina sol aqueous solution to a polypropylene resin cleaning tank or other parts that come into contact with water vapor generated when the heater is energized.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, since the surface of the olefin resin component is treated with silica alumina sol, the contact angle with water can be reduced, and water droplets are formed on the resin surface. Often a thin water film can be formed which sufficiently facilitates drying. Therefore, at the end of the drying process of the dishwasher, no water droplets remain not only on the surface-treated parts but also between the parts and the dishes that come into contact with them, so that the drying rate of the dishes can be greatly improved. In addition, it is possible to obtain better effects than before without being restricted by the shape, size, transparency, and color of parts as in the past.Furthermore, since it uses water-soluble processing agents, it is safe and has no environmental problems. It is also easy to mass produce, is inexpensive, and has no food hygiene issues.
It is extremely suitable for dishwashers.
