DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a dust removal device for a filter in which a large number of folds are formed by bending a filter medium into a wave shape, and in particular, the dust removal device is capable of reliably removing dust from the gaps between the folds, that is, the valleys. be.

Conventionally, for example, the filters of vacuum cleaners have been formed into a wave shape in order to make the filtration area as wide as possible. However, the wave shape as described above has the disadvantage that it becomes difficult to remove dust stuck in the wedge-shaped valley spaces between the pleats, resulting in an increase in pressure loss. In addition, as a solution to the above problem, it has been proposed to scrape off the dust in the valley space with a wire with a sharp tip, but in this case, the filter medium itself may be damaged by the wire or the like.

The present invention solves these conventional problems; in other words, the filter has a structure in which the filter medium is bent into a wave shape to form a large number of mountain-shaped folds that protrude toward the dust collecting section. , a filter frame made of an elastic material that holds the periphery of the filter, closes the end openings of the folds, and forms a sliding surface on the back of the folds; and a filter frame provided on the inner peripheral surface of the filter frame. A shape-retaining frame that prevents deformation of the filter frame; and a dust remover that is movably supported by the shape-retaining frame and applies vibration by directly or indirectly hitting the folds of the filter as it moves relative to the filter. The dust remover is provided with a pressing portion that partially presses the sliding surface of the filter frame as the dust remover moves.

Therefore, during the dust removal operation, when the dust remover is operated to vibrate the filter, the pressing portion slides while partially pressing the sliding surface of the filter frame. If the pressed portion of the sliding surface is a valley between the folds of the filter, the pressure pushes the valley forward, and as a result, the valley space is expanded.
Dust stuck here can be easily removed by vibration.

The filter device 5 includes a flat filter 7 in which a filter medium is bent into a wave shape to form a large number of mountain-shaped folds 6 projecting forward, and a flat filter 7 is integrally formed on the outer periphery of the filter to close the upper and lower openings of the folds 6. At the same time, the filter frame 9 is made of an elastic material such as rubber and has a packing piece 8 formed in close contact with the inner surface of the dust box 3 and the front surface of the main body 1, and the filter frame 9 is attached to the inner surface to prevent inward deformation of the filter frame 9. The main part is constituted by a shape-retaining frame 10 made of hard synthetic resin or the like that prevents this.

The outside of the filter 7 (left side in FIG. 3) is set as the filtering surface. Reference numeral 11 denotes a sliding surface formed in a direction orthogonal to the folds 6 in correspondence with both ends of the folds 6 on the non-filtering side of the filter 7, and is integrally formed on the inner surface of the filter frame 9. 12 is the sliding surface 11
A rail portion formed on the shape retaining frame 10 in a parallel relationship with,
13 is a diaphragm inserted between the folds 6 of the filter 7;
Reference numeral 14 denotes a dust remover that is slidably attached to the rail portion 12, and has a protrusion 15 that engages with the diaphragm 13 at approximately the center thereof, and a part of the sliding surface 11 at both ends. A pressing portion 16 that slides while pressing is formed respectively.

Note that the attachment of the dust remover 14 to the rail portion 12 is as follows:

In the above configuration, when the dust remover 14 is now slid from side to side, its protrusions 15 engage with the diaphragm 13 and flick off one after another, causing them to vibrate.
The vibrations of the diaphragm 13 are transmitted to the filter 7, and dust adhering to the filter surface is sieved off.

Incidentally, as the dust remover 14 slides, the pressing portion 16 moves while partially pressing the sliding surface 11. Here, a part of the sliding surface 11 pressed by the pressing part 16 becomes a bulge as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, and if this bulge occurs in the valley between the folds of the filter 7, As a result, the valley space t is expanded, and the adjacent valleys are conversely reduced.

Therefore, the dust in the expanded valley space t can be easily and reliably screened off. To be more specific, the valley space t is once contracted and then expanded, and along with this, the dust is also compressed once and then receives vibration in the expanded valley space t and is released. It moves away from the filter 7.

Note that it is better for the pressure part 16 of the dust remover 14 to have a small resistance with the sliding surface 11, and for this purpose, it is also possible to round the pressure part 16 or provide a roller 20 as shown in FIG. It will be done.

Furthermore, although the above embodiments have been described with respect to flat filters, the present invention can also be applied to cylindrical wave filters by making the dust remover rotary, for example. Further, the dust remover may directly impart vibration to the filter without using a diaphragm.

In this way, the present invention facilitates and reliably removes dust by expanding and contracting the valley space between the folds in conjunction with applying vibrations to the folds in the filter, thereby improving the filter function. It has an excellent effect that can be maintained well at all times.
