体、(b)マイクロ波エネルギーに対して実質的に透明
であり且つ(i)本体のためのふたとして働らくように
容器本体の上方部分内にきちんと適合し且つ該容器本体
中に包装した食料製品を過度の移動の自由に抗して限局
するような深さのものであり、しかも除いたときに、包
装した食料製品に添加する液体を収容するための空間を
本体内に提供し、且つ(ii)逆にしたときに容器本体
のためのふたとして働らくように容器本体上にきちんと
適合するような、寸法及び形状の底面壁と直立する縁の
壁を有する、容器本体のための硬質、耐衝撃性のふた、
及び(c)該ふたを容器本体の上方の部分内にきちんと
適合させるときに該容器本体の底面壁と直立する縁の壁
及び該ふたの底面壁が限定する空間中に収容せしめる、
該濃縮食料製品を含有する酸素バリヤー材料の小袋から
成ることを特徴とする該容器。 2、液体を添加し且つ加熱することによつて調理する濃
縮食料製品のための組合わせ包装及びサービス容器にし
て、(a)底面壁及び直立する縁の壁を有する、マイク
ロ波エネルギーに対して実質的に透明な硬質、対衝撃性
の容器、(b)マイクロ波エネルギーに対して実質的に
透明であり且つ(i)容器本体のためのふたとして働ら
くために容器本体の上方部分内にきちんと適合し且つ該
容器本体中に包装した食料製品を過度の移動の自由に抗
して限局するような深さのものであり、且つ(ii)逆
にしたときに、容器本体のためのふたとして働らくため
に容器本体上にきちんと適合するような寸法と形状を有
する、硬質、耐衝撃性のふた、及び(c)容器本体内に
包装した食料製品を限局するための、酸素バリヤー密封
手段から成り、該容器本体の内側は、該容器の底面壁の
内側及びふたを容器本体の上方部分内にきちんと適合さ
せるときにふたの底面壁と容器本体の縁の壁の接合点に
よつて規定する点下の該容器の縁の部分を被覆するため
に、酸素バリヤー材料の皮膜で内張りしてあることを特
徴とする、該容器。 3、容器本体及びふたをポリプロピレン又はポリエチレ
ンから形成せしめる、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の組合
わせ包装及びサービス容器。 4、容器本体及びふたをポリプロピレン又はポリエチレ
ンから形成せしめる、特許請求の範囲第2項記載の組合
わせ包装及びサービス容器。 5、小袋をポリプロピレンの2外層及びエチレン−ビニ
ルアルコール共重合体の1内層を有する多層シートから
形成せしめる、特許請求の範囲第1項記載の組合わせ包
装及びサービス容器。 6、小袋をポリプロピレンの2外層及びエチレン−ビニ
ルアルコール共重合体の1内層を有する多層シートから
形成せしめる、特許請求の範囲第2項記載の組合わせ包
装及びサービス容器。
Claims: 1. Combination packaging and service containers for concentrated food products that are added with liquid and cooked by heating,
) a rigid, impact-resistant container body substantially transparent to microwave energy, having a bottom wall and an upstanding edge wall; (b) a rigid, impact-resistant container body substantially transparent to microwave energy; ) of such depth that it fits snugly within the upper portion of the container body to act as a lid for the container body and confines the food product packaged within the container body against undue freedom of movement; (ii) such that, when removed, the container provides space within the body for containing liquid to be added to the packaged food product; and (ii) acts as a lid for the container body when inverted. a rigid, impact-resistant lid for a container body having a bottom wall and an upright edge wall dimensioned and shaped to fit snugly over the body;
and (c) the lid, when fitted snugly within the upper portion of the container body, is housed in the space defined by the bottom wall of the container body and the upright edge wall and the bottom wall of the lid;
The container is characterized in that it consists of a sachet of oxygen barrier material containing the concentrated food product. 2. A combination packaging and service container for concentrated food products cooked by adding liquid and heating, comprising (a) a bottom wall and an upright edge wall, for microwave energy; a substantially transparent rigid, impact-resistant container; (b) substantially transparent to microwave energy; and (i) within an upper portion of the container body to serve as a lid for the container body. (ii) of a depth that fits snugly and confines the food product packaged within the container body against undue freedom of movement; and (ii) a lid for the container body when inverted. (c) an oxygen barrier sealing means for confining the packaged food product within the container body; The inside of the container body is defined by the inside of the bottom wall of the container and the juncture of the bottom wall of the lid and the edge wall of the container body when the lid is snugly fitted within the upper portion of the container body.
