Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a film from being misloaded by pressing the plane part of a cartridge by an operation part according to the closing operation of a rear cover and correcting the position of the cartridge in a cartridge chamber automatically. CONSTITUTION:While the rear cover 5 is open, the operation part 14c of a cartridge correction lever 14 moves back so as to come close to the internal wall side of the rear cover pivotal part 1b of a camera main body 1. When a user loads the cartridge P in the cartridge chamber 1a with its film lead-out slit P2 up in this state, the rear cover 5 begins to be closed and the cartridge P is pressed while centering on the rotation on a winding shaft P1. When the rear cover 5 is closed completely, the operation part 14 and plane part P3 become nearly parallel to the surface of the aperture of the camera main body 1 and the cartridge P is held at the normal position in the cartridge 1a. Thus, the position of the film lead-out slit P2 is corrected, so such a film loading miss that the rear cover is not closed is eliminated.

In conventional cameras that use cartridge film, loading the film is quite troublesome, and in order to improve this, various proposals have recently been made for so-called easy-to-load film cameras that allow for easy film loading. ing. The present applicant also proposed one of this kind of proposals by opening a small back cover on the back side that corresponds to the cartridge chamber of the camera and inserting the cartridge into the cartridge chamber without worrying about the length of the film that has been pulled out in advance. We have already filed an application for a camera that automatically feeds a part of the film leader into the camera body and then automatically feeds it into the spool chamber by simply closing the back cover. . However, in the camera of this application, the cartridge may be loaded with the film drawer opening facing upward (towards the back of the camera).
In such cases, there were problems in that the back cover would not close or the film would not be properly fed into the spool chamber, resulting in film loading errors.
